Network Marketing - The Three P’s for Success

In order to be successful in network marketing, you must possess these three qualities; they are passion, persistence and patience.

Passion

“Passion is the genesis of genius.” Tony Robbins. “Passion is the term applied to a very strong feeling about a person or thing.”  Wikipedia.

Achieving great things does not happen if you are not in love with what you do, being in love involves being passionate. Passion is a very important part of being successful at anything. You have to be passionate about the tools, products or services you are marketing. You must use and believe that what you are marketing is valuable and provides a solution to a problem that your prospective customers have.

The passion for what you are marketing will lift your spirit, energize your heart, and mind to move further and faster in the higher levels of performances. Passion provides the fuel to keep moving forward in the midst of obstacles or uncertainty.

“Man is only great when he acts from passion.” Benjamin Disrael. “Nothing great in this world has ever been accomplished without passion.” George Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel. “It is your passion that empowers you to be able to do that thing you were created to do.” T. D. Jakes. “When you catch a glimpse of your potential, that’s when passion is born.” Zig Ziglar.

The Importance of Collaboration and Teamwork

Collaboration is an act executed by an organization, company or group of people to reach a common goal, which typically takes place on a larger scale than teamwork.” On a smaller scale, “Teamwork is cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group of persons acting together as a team or in the interest of common cause.”

More importantly, collaboration and teamwork create an environment that permits the resources, skills and knowledge of each team member to thrive.

In order for collaboration and teamwork to work effectively, certain factors must be considered. These factors include environment, member diversity, process/structure, vision, resources, knowledge, skills, goals and communication, that should be opened and frequent as well as both formal and informal.

Initially, a great deal of effort and attention are required to sustain the spirit of collaboration and teamwork, and both must be high priorities. In these environments, responsibility must be defined and each member needs to understand the importance of working smoothly together to ensure success. There must be an encouraging culture and each member must be dedicated to the whole team and be willing to act unselfishly. The spirit of collaboration and teamwork is most effective when team members are expressive and open to positive competition.

Network Marketing - What are the Main Activities of Network Marketers?

What is Network Marketing?

It is a means of doing business in which representatives serve as distributors of goods and services. These representatives are encouraged to build and manage their own sales force by recruiting and training other sale representatives.

Distributors earn commissions not only for sales of products and services they personally generate, but also for the sales of others, they recruit and bring into the business. The recruits constitute a representative’s “downline” and a hierarchy of multiple leveraged levels of compensation.

Network Marketing is the greatest business opportunity that is very popular with people looking for part time, flexible business without a lot of money to invest to become financially free.

A Network Marketer is someone who is in the business of network marketing. The Four main activities of network marketers are known as the four C’s - Capture, Collect, Communicate and Close.

Capture

This is done by the use of a capture page. This mainly consists of a one-page website known as a squeeze page. It is a campaign for a product/service, which solves a problem in the network-marketing environment. There may be a video presentation about the product or service being offered.  Something is offered in exchange for the prospects information in the form of name, email and sometimes phone number. This information is captured and stored.

Collect

Once the prospects are intrigued, they normally enter their information. This is how information of the prospects is collected in an autoresponder. They have now become part of an online list. This is valuable information that can be use to communicate with the prospects later. This is the beginning of list building process.

A Successful Network Marketer

network marketing

Four things are needed to be a successful network marketer. Statistically, 95 percent of people in Internet Marketing, MLM, networking or home business opportunity fail. With traditional business, only one in 10 makes it. There is a 90 percent failure rate. This is the case not because of the lack of effort on the path of the distributors or owners. It is because they lack the four things needed to be successful.

These are the four things:

(1) Daily/weekly cash flow

(2) Enough prospects to communicate to on a daily basis

(3) A duplicative system/information process

(4) Sales training

These four things constitute the recipe for success.

Network Marketing - How to Succeed in Network Marketing

What is Network Marketing? “Network Marketing is the greatest opportunity in the history of mankind for the average person without a lot of money to invest to become financially free.”

Network Marketing is a business model in which a distributor earns commissions not only for sales of products or services he/she personally generates, but also for the sales of others that he/she personally introduced to the company. A distributor’s network is needed to build a downline of distributors and a hierarchy by which payment occur at more than one level.

Implement these twelve steps to succeed in Network Marketing:

1. First and foremost, you need to choose a company that is a right fit for you. Do your research to get the facts and then make an informed decision as to which company is best for you personally.

2. You must choose the right sponsor.  This is vital to your success and the right sponsor will be your mentor and your friend and will help to guide you to success.

3. It takes time to build a team. Network Marketing is a legitimate business and not a get rich quick scheme. Therefore, like all other businesses, it requires time to build it and get it off the ground and running.

4. You need to have a plan and work your plan. You will have greater success with a plan than without one.

5. Read books by those who have been successful so that you acquire knowledge and develop skills.

6. Have a very strong ‘why’. It is your ‘why’ that will keep you motivated and will help you to weather the storms through your business journey.

7. Set your goals and publish them. This will help to make you more accountable.

8. It is important to attend company meetings and training calls so that you are aware and up to date with what’s happening in the company.

9. Learn about your products and services so that you are knowledgeable about what you are selling.

10. Tell as many people as you can about your products or services. The more people you can get to use your products and services the greater the success you will enjoy.

11.  Do not concentrate on just recruiting new prospects but rather try to build relations and find out what people really want then provide them with what they need.

12. Above all, enjoy your network-marketing journey!
